A chill food truck park with greenery, a live music stage featuring the best of Idaho, and original food trucks serving classics like pizza, BBQ, & sushi, & exotic fare (you won't find anywhere other than big cities) like Nepalese momos (dumplings). Rotating food trucks offer scratch-made bagels, ice cream & fusion tacos too. Make a point to be there when Darjeeling Momo shows up for dumplings & pork chow mein (fried noodles, for Hawaii folks). Been going to Green Acres for the last 2 summers. It’s such a little gem. Outside surrounded by trees and the beautiful river, live music, young older people, families, young couples without kids, kids running around happy, playing in the trees, dogs. Almost like a scene out of a movie. The food selections are great and always change up so there’s something new every week but then there are those few that are staples and stay every week. Couldn’t say more great things about Green Acres. Bring a picnic blanket, enjoy some delicious food, a cold local Boise beer, listen to some live music - a great weekend!
We had a blast as we always do! Took the kiddos for lunch, ice cream and music. The lines were a little long for the first weekend they are open (to be expected) but it was so nice to have many more food trucks available and everyone was very accommodating.
This place is what I've been waiting for. Perfect location, live music and beer. I do wish they had a full bar but I won't complain about having some good local beer. The eclectic variety of food is what keeps me coming back. One of my favorites is Little Red Kitchen. Their grilled chicken and cornbread is *Chefs Kiss* delightful. They always have something new to look forward to and their staff is awesome!
We love this place! There is always a good band playing and interesting food choices. Bring some chairs to sit on the grass or find a table in front of the stage. Plenty of fun for kids too!
It's all about the atmosphere at Green Acres. Situated by the river under large shade trees with a variety of live music that changes nightly. It's a great go-to to meet friends, share a meal and even dance.
Went to the 8 annual Idaho wildlife Alefest this weekend. Yes it rained the whole time but everyone had a great time with lots of brewery’s pouring from local, Oregon and Washington there. The music was basically country and blue grass and they rocked it. Found a taco trailer that had some of the best carnitas tacos I have found here in the treasure valley, basilios Mexican food. I went back two times and enjoyed 6 of the carnitas street tacos.
